    IMPORTANT PRODUCT & INSTALLATION NOTICE

    * CERAMIC-GLAZED BASALT
    Luxury Gold accents used in select Dulcet mosaics are produced by applying a ceramic glaze to natural basalt. This glazing process creates the distinctive metallic gold appearance and is an intentional design characteristic of the product.
    * GLAZED SURFACE CHARACTERISTICS
    Due to the nature of ceramic glazing, minor chipping, flaking, or irregularities may occur along the edges of the glazed basalt pieces. These characteristics may occur during the glazing and fabrication process and may become more noticeable when the material is cut. Minor edge chipping is an inherent characteristic of this product and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
    Dulcet sample and concept boards intentionally display these characteristics to accurately represent the appearance of the product.
    * CUTTING & INSTALLATION
    Special care must be taken when cutting Luxury Gold pieces. Cutting with a wet saw or other blade may cause the ceramic glaze to chip along the cut edge. Use a high-quality blade appropriate for delicate glazed materials and make cuts slowly to minimize chipping. Whenever possible, position cut edges where they will be concealed by grout, trim, or adjoining material.
    * INSPECT BEFORE INSTALLATION
    Material must be inspected and approved prior to installation. The installer and purchaser should review the Luxury Gold pieces and compare the material to the approved sample or concept board before installation. Variations and minor edge chipping consistent with the product samples are considered acceptable characteristics of the material.
    * GROUTING
    Proper grouting will help minimize the visibility of minor edge chipping and natural irregularities between pieces. Care should be taken during installation and grouting to avoid scratching or damaging the glazed surface.
    * IMPORTANT
    Luxury Gold is a decorative ceramic-glazed basalt and should be handled and installed accordingly. Minor edge chipping, glaze variation, and edge irregularities are inherent characteristics of the ceramic glazing and fabrication process and are not considered manufacturing defects. These characteristics are intentionally represented on Dulcet sample and concept boards.
    Installation constitutes acceptance of the material and its inherent characteristics. Claims related to minor glaze chipping, edge irregularities, or appearance that are consistent with the product samples will not be accepted after installation.
